PABST BLUE RIBBON BAR LIGHT CONTEST
1. Sponsor and Contest Period. The Pabst Blue Ribbon Bar Light Contest (“Contest”) is sponsored by Sleeman Breweries Ltd. (“Sponsor”). The contest will take place in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. The Contest begins at 12:01 a.m. (MST) on April 26, 2024 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (MST) on July 5, 2024.
2. Prize. There are fifteen (15) prizes available to be won (BC: 3 prizes available, AB: 2 prizes available, SK: 1 prize available, MB: 1 prize available, ON: 7 prizes available, NS: 1 prize available). Each prize consists of a Pabst Blue Ribbon Bar Light. Approximate retail value of each Prize is $540 CAD.
3. Chances of winning. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. Conditions. The Contest is open to residents of legal drinking age in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. The Contest is not open to employees, agents, or representatives of the Sponsor, and any business, company, fiduciary or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated with the Sponsor, their promotional agencies, the suppliers of prizes, materials or services connected to the Contest, liquor licensees, as well as the immediate family members (brothers, sisters, children, parents) or spouses of the foregoing, or any person with whom the foregoing are domiciled.
The provincial liquor agencies are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever, and are not liable in any way whatsoever in regard to any matter which relates to this Contest.
5. Entry with purchase of one case of specially marked twenty-four (24) 355ml and twenty (20) 355ml cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. An entry (“Entry”) is made by completing and submitting an entry form with the PIN code from the specially marked case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer at www.pbrcontest.ca.
6. No purchase entry. To participate in the Contest without purchasing a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, any Participant may mail a legible, handwritten, original letter of at least one hundred (100) words explaining why he or she would like to win the Prize, accompanied by his or her name, address (including city or town and postal code), age and telephone number (with area code), to “Pabst Blue Ribbon Ski Suit Contest” c/o Sleeman Breweries, 551 Clair Rd. W, Guelph, On N1L 0H7. Upon validation of the letter, a PIN code will be sent to the Participant which may be submitted to the contest website. Any Participant may submit one (1) letter per day during the Contest Period, with different text for each letter. Letters may be submitted until July 5th, 2024.
7. Awarding Prizes. Selected entrants will be drawn on July 8th, 2024. A Prize claim form will be sent by email to the address provided with each selected entrant’s Entry.
8. Acceptance of Prize. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not subject to transfer, exchange or substitution for an award of cash or otherwise, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize, in whole or in part, for another prize of equivalent or greater value if any Prize is not available for any reason whatsoever.
9. Decisions. All decisions of the Sponsor or its representatives with respect to this Contest are final and without appeal.
10. Indemnification. All participants and all persons attempting to participate in the Contest hereby indemnify the Sponsor and any business, company, or other legal entity controlled by or affiliated with the Sponsor, its promotional agencies, the participating retailers, the suppliers of prizes, materials or services connected to the Contest, as well as the employees, agents, and representatives of the foregoing, against any damage or loss they may sustain in connection with their participation in, or attempt to participate in, the Contest.
11. Errors. Any PIN codes containing or presenting errors will be cancelled.
12. Right to cancel, suspend or modify. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest at any time, without notice, if a factor disrupts the proper conduct of the Contest, consistent with these Rules. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest in the case of error, particularly in production, distribution or printing, or the occurrence of any other event giving rise to claims exceeding the number of Prizes contemplated under these Rules.
13. Applicable Laws. These Contest rules are subject to the laws of the Provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia and applicable laws of Canada.
